Cadaquès

Cadaqués, in the 20th century, was discovered by writers and painters in the twenties, and was rediscovered by the bohemian travellers in the sixties. This fishing village, surrounded by a unique geological landscape, became a small republic of the arts. It is not surprising that creators such as Duchamp, Dalí or Richard Hamilton turned Cadaqués into their usual, warm and discreet haven. The village, with the quality of its light, the geological relief of the Cap de Creus, the intense blue, the battling north wind, its warm-natured inhabitants and the trace of Salvador Dalí, does not leave anyone feeling indifferent.
