The reading of the book invites the reader to walk through it, on foot, by boat, or simply with their imagination, to help them discover many of the aspects presented by this port, one of the most notable in the Mediterranean: the geological, historiographical, political, commercial and economic, literary, artistic, tourist, and recreational aspects, in order to provide a comprehensive understanding of what it has been and what it is today. We therefore present an original work that does not resemble any of the publications to date and which, complemented by abundant graphic information from both the past and present, we believe may be of interest to the general public and, in the future, become a refe-rence work.<\/p>\n
